Product Review: FXR Blade Carbon Helmet

New Products

A good snowmobile helmet serves to important functions: It protects your head from impact and it protects your head from the cold.

Although protection from impact may save your life, it’s the protection from the cold that you mostly notice day in and day out on the snow. So it’s nice to be wearing something that can handle the catastrophic while providing comfort for the day-by-day performance.

FXR’s Blade Carbon Helmet is designed to exceed all the DOT and ECE standards in protecting your head from the big things, but it also provides the fit and comfort to keep your head comfortable from the little things.

This helmet features a rear diffuser to assist in transferring loads to compatible neck brace systems. An ultra-lightweight hand laid 100 percent carbon fiber shell weighs in at a feather light 1250g. The duel density EPS liner along with progressive density cheek pads and quick release buckle system will offer maximum protection and comfort.

The Blade features an ultra-high-flow visor that will assist in eliminating helmet lift at high speeds. The liners of these helmets are hygienically-treated, removable and washable.

It retails for $369.99. For more information contact www.fxrracing.com.
