Castle X modular helmet

New Products

The trouble with a modular helmet is that it looks like a modular helmet … and that alone is enough to offset any advantages it may have in its design. Castle has gone to great lengths to design its EXO-CX950 modular helmet to look like the popular motocross style helmet, yet feature all the advantages that come with the modular helmet.

The versatile EXO-CX950 can be configured to be three distinct styles of helmet: First, it can function as a modular dual-sport snow helmet when the visor and shield are installed; second it can function as an aerodynamic sport touring snow helmet when the visor is removed; finally can function as an off-road helmet when the shield is removed to allow use of goggles.

The oversized eyeport is designed to maximize your field of vision. Or you can quickly adjust your view by using the yellow tint internal drop down Speedview sunvisor. The yellow lens will enhance contrast and increase definition, so you can better see bumps and irregularities in the snow.

The Castle helmet features three shell sizes made of Advanced LG Polycarbonate and a dual density EPS, result in a helmet that is versatile, light and strong. The custom molded EPS liners are shell specific. It also has an Aero-Tuned Ventilation System that features a dual position mouth vent and large intake port at the top of the helmet force cool air in through deep air flow channels while two large exhaust vents maximize movement of hot air out.

The EXO-CX950 retails between $269.99 and  $364.99, depending on size, design and added features. For more information www.castlesales.com.
