It's almost race time again, and the details have been coming out on the latest race hardware. Arctic Cat has made several updates and refinements to its 2011 Sno Pro 600. Those improvements include:
- New Snocross track, 2.86-inch pitch, 2 lbs lighter than 2010 track.
- Revised rails with more aggressive transfer adjustment control.
- Improved rear Fox shock compression valving for slow-speed compression (g-outs, big whoops).
- New program for CDI for improved holeshots based on ignition timing and exhaust valve opening in relation to pipe temperature.
- VIP system (sold separately) has new water temp and throttle position sensors in addition to exhaust pipe temp, track speed, driven shaft speed and tachometer.
- Exhaust manifold has new inlet tube and more durable pipe temp probe fitting.
- Improved engine mount material to resist gas and oil degradation.
- Black painted aluminum tunnel with new support braces and upper spar assembly gussets.
- Clear fuel tanks with black vinyl cover.
- Relocated hood latch pins.
