SCOTT USA added two all-new helmets to its lineup of off-road snowmobiling and motor gear. The Airborne and Assault helmets are available now.
The Airborne features a pre-impregnated carbon fiber hybrid shell with impact-absorbing tri-density EPS liner. It also has a high-flow ventilation system and a breathable open cell mesh liner. The mouthpiece featuers a stainless grill design. The Airborne exceeds DOT and Snell standards and is AMA Racing approved. The Cool Clean liner and cheek pads are removable and washable. The visor is adjustable and a spare one is included with each helmet. The eye ports have a non-slip goggle gasket, and of course, the Airborne is compatible with all SCOTT goggles. A Large Airborne weighs in at 3 lbs.
The Assault is an alloy injection-molded PC shell with impact-absorbing dual density EPS liner that extends into the chin bar. The Assault has dual vent intakes and multi exhaust ports to provide excellent cooling. Like the Airborne, the Assault's liner and cheek pads are removable and washable. The Assault exceeds DOT and Snell standards and is AMA Racing approved.
