The Arsenal Shovel System includes a 35 cm snow/wood saw or a full-length 240 cm probe that is stowed inside the shovel shaft. The saw or probe can be instantly deployed from the shaft by pushing a button on the grip and pulling it out.
Once the saw or probe is deployed, the shovel is still fully functional. The shaft does not have to be removed from the blade and the grip is still intact.
