Second Generation Of Airshock Technology
For the 2009 season, Tom's Snowmobile is offering any existing Float shock owner the opportunity to upgrade his shock to the second generation of airshock technology. This includes Ski-Doo, Polaris, Arctic Cat and Yamaha owners.
This upgrade is primarily intended for Float shocks that currently use a negative spring in the existing shock system. Early designed Float shocks that did not use the negative spring technology can still be upgraded, but more parts are required. Call for price information.
With the upgrade, sledders can experience a more usable and compliant ride from their existing shock. Riders can also experience a more subtle and smoother slow speed ride, as well as broader midrange use without the harshness of existing air shock technology.
The basic kit includes new high viscosity oil, negative spring, high flow piston, vehicle-specific valving and basic service.
Each deluxe kit includes all the above, plus a new high-volume bearing assembly and O-ring and seal kit.

Fly Racing Aero Tapered Carbon Fiber Handlebars
Fly Racing's Aero Tapered Handlebars are constructed of carbon fiber-wrapped 7075 taper-walled aircraft grade aluminum.
Each set of bars is 1-1/8 inch diameter at the clamp, which then tapers to a standard 7/8 inch diameter to accept grips and controls.
The Aero Tapered design provides controlled flex that dissipates shock and reduces rider fatigue, while the carbon fiber wrap acts as a barrier from the cold aluminum to allow grip heaters to heat up quicker and hotter.

Air Frame Hoods
Skinz Protective Gear now offers a lightweight performance hood for Arctic Cat M Series/Crossfire and Polaris IQ snowmobiles.
Hoods are constructed from aluminum tubing and tig welded to produce a durable frame and covered with a combination fabric and mesh materials. The tubular frame is constructed in three pieces to allow UPS shipping. The fabric wrap also include panels which can be removed to allow more venting in warm weather. Both hoods have mounts for gauges and an aftermarket light kit while using the OEM hinge mount for an easy installation.

The Super-Lite backer is designed for the rider who is looking for lightweight stud support and vibrant colors. These backers are made from new engineered polymers that are up to 40 percent lighter than aluminum, while still maintaining excellent strength. Lightweight Steering Post
These lightweight steering posts only weigh an amazing 1.6 lbs. The posts are made from 4130 chromoly tubing and are tig welded to withstand the toughest conditions. Improved Slidekicks Reverse-Compatible Ice-Scratchers
Between the Lines Designs, the company that introduced Slidekicks reverse-compatible ice-scratchers last season, has made some key changes to this unique and innovative product.
Due to some durability and performance issues with last year's design, polypropylene-impregnated and coated cable is now being utilized that is three times stiffer for vastly-improved ice-chipping action with less whip while being able to handle much lower temperatures.
