November 17, 2012 Idaho Snowmobile Show Is Over; Now It's Time To Really Snow Photos by Lane Lindstrom, Ryan Harris and Steve Janes Now that the Idaho Snowmobile Show, one of the last snowmobile shows before winter, is over for another year, all that's left is for Mother Nature to open the storm clouds and let it snow. Those attending the snowmobile show, sponsored by SnoWest Magazine, the Idaho State Snowmobile Show and Allstate Insurance, on the second day again found plenty to choose from. And almost all of it was snowmobile-related. There were a couple of exceptions, like the We noticed several folks stopped and watched us put on the finishing touches on our latest SnoWest project sled, which started with a 2013 Arctic Cat M 800 Sno Pro LTD 153. Arctic Cat professional hillclimbers Rob Kincaid and Dave McClure helped with our project sled, that is, when they weren't signing autographs. There was an entire slate of seminars, all sponsored by Klim, again on Saturday, including installing a sled wrap (John Aquinaga), snowmobile preseason prep (Dustin Pancheri), technical mountain riding tips (Bret Rasmussen), choosing the best goggle and lenses (Sid Huntsman) and avalanche survival (Matt Potratz) and avalanche prepardness (Idaho Department of Parks and Rec). Not only are we showing a picture of the Show & Shine, sponsored by Western Power Sports and Ultimax Belts, winners, but also a few other pretty nice sleds we saw at the show. © 2013 SnoWest® Magazine http://www.snowest.com |
