15 Finalists Named In $125,000 “Search For A Champion” Contest
Southfield, MI — Fifteen grassroots racers representing several different forms of engine-driven competition have been selected as finalists in the 2013 “Search for a Champion” racing sponsorship contest, which will award $125,000 in sponsorship cash from Federal-Mogul’s iconic Champion brand of spark plugs, wiper blades and chemical additives. Each finalist will receive a $5,000 Champion sponsorship and a chance to earn the contest’s $50,000 grand prize. Voting for the grand prize sponsorship began Feb. 22 at www.AlwaysaChampion.com.

We were just in Priest Lake, ID, snowmobiling this week and if you're looking for snow, this place has got it. It was snowing heavily when we pulled out of town on Thursday afternoon (snowed all morning), adding to an already very good snowpack on top of a great base.

Idaho H 116 Being Held In Committee Indefinitely
Idaho H 116, the bill that would transfer registrations for snowmobiles and other recreation vehicles from the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR) to the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD), is being held in committee indefinitely. This is probably good news for snowmobilers.

Arctic Cat Announces Engine And Co-Brand Agreements With Yamaha Motor Corporation
Plymouth, MN – Arctic Cat Inc. has entered into an Engine Supply Agreement with Yamaha Motor Corporation to expand its purchase of snowmobile engines starting in the 2014 model year. Arctic Cat initially entered into an agreement to purchase the Yamaha 123cc 4-stroke engines for their youth snowmobile in 2009. This agreement has now been expanded to include select 4-stroke engines from Yamaha.
