Historic Trail Agreement Signed By B.C. Community Groups
Fifteen regional groups came together Monday to sign a momentous agreement that will help protect, build and sustain trails in southern British Columbia. This agreement involved organizations that take part in cycling, snowmobiling, horseback riding, ATVing, wilderness activities and mountain biking plus municipalities and other groups.

RMSHA Season Concludes At Schweitzer
The Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Hillclimb Association’s 2013 season concluded last weekend with the Schweitzer Sledfest in Sandpoint, ID. Many of the usual suspects could be found atop the leaderboards at Schweitzer: Keith Curtis was named King of both Stock and Mods, Kyle Tapio was King of Improved, Justin Thomas was Semi-Pro King and Kaycee Balls was crowned Women’s Queen.

Reaction: Yellowstone Winter Use Plan A Win For Wyoming, Says Mead, Barrasso

NPS Proposed Rule To Implement New Yellowstone Winter Use Plan Released For 60-Day Public Review, Comment Period
The National Park Service has released for public comment a proposed rule to more effectively manage access for snowmobiles and snow coaches in Yellowstone National Park while minimizing impacts on visitors, air and sound quality, and wildlife. The Proposed Rule to guide management of winter use in the park was published in the Federal Register earlier this week, opening a 60-day public review and comment period.

Snow Devils Raffle Off Sled At Jackson Hillclimb
From March 21-24 thousands of snowmobilers and spectators converged on Snow King Resort in Jackson, WY, for the 38th Annual World Championship Snowmobile Hillclimb. On the final day of competition, Benita Knight’s name was drawn from a pool of raffle tickets. Minutes later, Knight, who lives just minutes from Snow King, was handed the key to a 2013 Arctic Cat M 800 Sno Pro donated by ZBroz.
