The Intermountain Snowmobile Show, sponsored by SnoWest Magazine and the Utah Snowmobile Association is just days away.
The show takes place this weekend—Friday, Oct. 23 and Saturday, Oct. 24—at the Salt Lake County Events Center in South Jordan, UT. The address of the facility is 10800 South 2200 West in South Jordan. Hours for the show on Friday are 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Take your snowmobile riding experience to the next level with how-to seminars by Bret Rasmussen, Chris Burandt and Dan Adams. There will also be an avalanche preparedness seminar put on by the Utah Parks & Recreation Department.
Then there’s all the snowmobile goodies you can imagine—all under one roof. The major snowmobile manufacturers will be there with their new models. And hundreds of exciting aftermarket products to enhance the snowmobile experience will be available for viewing and purchase. Several resort areas will also be at the event to show off their prime riding spots.
You can buy, sell or trade at the swap meet, which will be held Saturday only and is brought to you by the Utah Snowmobile Association. To participate in the swap meet, contact Ken (801) 572-4455.
You can bet the vintage sleds will once again be lined up for all to see. The vintage sleds are coordinated by the Vintage Snowmobile Club of Utah. To participate, contact Curtis (801) 510-2662 or curtistate@comcast.net.
An exciting new twist this year’s show is SnoWest Magazine's latest project sled, which will be built on-site. You can watch, listen in and ask questions as aftermarket reps install their products on the 2010 Arctic Cat HCR. Parts like the EZ Ryde rear suspension, Boondockers nitrous, Black Diamond Xtreme Diamond Lite drive, Fox shocks, Starting Line Products performance parts and more will all be added to the sled while show goers watch.
Door prizes will be drawn every hour. Door prizes include trips, snowmobile apparel, avalanche tools and more.
