Will the Sno Pro Gauge plug right into the Standard M8 wiring harness?

I'm looking at a standard 09 M8.

I assume they have the same wiring harness but, will the SnoPro (deluxe) gauge simply plug into the standard M8 wiring harness? Will all the function work properly?

I guess I just like the Sno Pro gauge much better.

Has anyone done this?

Yah but.....................:)

I found a standard 2009 M8 all setup and dialed in to perfection with a ton of the right mods, and it's semi close to me. I'm trying to convince myself once again.

Man is it ever going to boring once I do buy a sled!

$400 cough....................

Tell me more Glen.

Maybe that's the ticket?

I was at the local Cat dealer again today. They had one 2009 M8 Sno Pro demo and a 2009 M1000 Sno Pro demo. They both had just over 100 miles on them but the VSB bars were loose as heck. The entire mechanism moved all over the place. Not good. I love the looks of the Sno Pro but the great idea of the bars may turn into an achilies heel.

hmm, I have 1000 hard miles on my 09 SP, my bars are no looser than any other Cat I have owned, all Cats have loose steering, don't let that stop you from choosing a SP, that whole set up only costs 150.00 and it has warranty anyway. if that is the only thing holding you up, take it off and get a BDX or Fastline post, or even a std post, the dealer should have plenty laying around as they have been putting adjustable bars on lot of older M sleds. but I think the steering will still be loose, I don't even notice it really.
