V Force Reed causing problems

Has anyone ever had issues after installing v force reeds on the 900? I put some in, and also tried an SLP can instead of the MBRP I normally run and my sled was running like garbage. I think its because my can wasn't getting the exhaust out of the engine compartment and it wasn't getting enough good air in the intake but i'm not sure. I switched back to the mbrp and am hoping I can keep the reeds.

I have never experienced troubles with the VF 3 reeds. Had some VF 2's loose the screws that hold them together and took out a cylinder and piston though. If anything my engines have seemed to run smoother with the VF 3.

anyone else have experience with either the SLP can or V-force 3 reeds causing anything weird?

I have a 04 900 efi. I have a slp can, vforce 3 reeds and an air intake mod through the tach hole. Runs like a champ. Never had any problems.
