timbersled gauge mount - edge model

I just picked up an aftermarket hood and was looking at this product to mount a tach. Just wondering on people's experiences with it and how it worked out for them? I have a 04 Vert. Escape.

I ran one on my 900 rmk and it worked great. Just dont mount it above the bars so when you roll the sled it bends it down.

Not that particular one, but have mounted tach's like this on many sleds, a great way to go with the flimsy aftermarket hoods...or with no hood.
