when the sled is cold, it starts normally but refuses to idle unless I apply a little pressure to the throttle block. Not enough to raise the rpm, just enough so that the lever isn't fully at the resting position.

I can put a glove on it and that is enough to keep it idling. Once it is warm, it usually doesn't do this.

Is there an adjustment for to stop this? I am kinda tired of having to hold the throttle or start it twice.

Throttle cable adjust thingy should do it. Make sure the oiler, throttle body, and throttle are all adjusted right too. Too much (or not enough) slack on one will throw the others off.
