correct me if i am wrong, but i thought a 800 is just a stroked 700 so if u put a 700 crank in a 800 it would create a 700? im sure piston pin heights are different or the rod lengths are different. im talking about VES motors here

From what I know about EV and EFI Polaris 600/700/800 is that the stroke is identical, but the bore is obviously different.

I have put 800 juggs on a 700 EV bottom end, but never the other way around. The stroke of the new 600 is the same as the 800, this is how builders are able to make carbed versions of the new 800 for say a 440iq.

Now, the old (2005-2006?) 755 stroke is longer, but I would think you would have issues with the crank fitting due to the cases/motor being so different.

Don't go backwards.....no replacement for displacement, unless you have a hairdryer on your motor.

What year are you guys talking here ? The polaris made 97-05ish big block ves 600-700s have a 68 mm stroke and the 800 has a 70 mm stroke they will fit in the cases but shiming and port timing will be all out of spec.
