remington 700 gurus help me?

I am looking at buying a very slightly used Remington 700 bdl .270 with engraved receiver and an engraved bighorn on the floorplate. Anybody know when this rifle was made? It is in immaculate condition, What would be a decent price for this rifle. Jeremy

You need to trace the age with the serial number, as you do with any firearm.

They've made so many of the special editions that it's hard to tell. get the serial # and I can find out.
