Painting Hood

Has anyone painted their hood, any problems? The guy that's going to spray it paints our helicopters so knows what hes doing. Thanks!

Yep looks good till that first tree or sled do not have any pictures though

No troubles, Except that the windshield is now in about 6 pieces.

I don't hesitate to run this into the pickers and the paint is holding up great. That hood was orange!

I bought my sled with this paint job done already but the original owner told me $1300

Seems kind a pricey but there is a lot of detail in the paint job. It looks like peeled metal with flames under it. There must be a a ton of clear on it because it almost feels soft to the touch. It's a show car quality paint job. The handguards match the hood and the metal plate by the steering post support is also painted this way.

I didnt mean the paint wouldnt hold up I ment the hood would not.... we painted are sleds and one guy accidently hit the back of another sled and I hit a tree
