I hear all Poo clutches are the same taper from 80s and up, just length and thickness of clutch taper that differs.

Who knows?

Want to buy new clutch for XCR triple and see many for sale, just want to make sure I get something I can use...

Any info is apreciated, thanks!

Wont matter on the year, only difference there is the latest XCR 8 had a slightly thicker CLUTCH BOLT. Otherwise they are the same.

But good answer, if you are running one from a xc8 then I know I can get the ones from the twins as well.

Thanks!

Only you ddn't mention it was a xcr8 :beer;
(So I thought maybe it could be a 97/98 with a huge bigbore :D )

Only thing with the HD clutch, with the wider cover bushing, I have to compress the clutch slightly to put on and off.

The big block twins up through 05 and the 700/900 will work on your motor.

The new 800 has a different taper though, it won't work.

Also some of the models have bigger rollers and are beefed up to take the extra vib and load of the larger models but the taper is still the 30mm other than the new dragons and such.

Wider rollers, bigger bushing in cover (longer or what?) and what else?

Thanks

Forged spider, quite a bit more mass in the spider on the later 800 and the 700/900 clutches. With the bigger spiders the buttons are a different thickness as well.
