I guess you have the cylinder on the table? if it is nickasilcoated inside you can see it like a thin layer of hardmaterial that looks sprayed on and goes inside the ports and all.

If it has an cast iron sleeve it looks like an rusty iron tube that is pushed inside the cylinder, it has an different color than the rest of the cylinder.

At the pictures you can see an cast aluminium nickasilcoated F7 cylinder. An cast aluminium Cr500 cylinder with an cast-iron sleeve pressed inside and an Billet aluminium ET900 cylinder with an cast-iron slevve pressed inside.

Billet cylinders means machined out of an solid piece of aluminium.

People allso often reffer to the cast 800 bigbores on the M7 , the bored out stock cylinder 800 kits are cast too but the cast bigbores is an new cast with tenportsdesign and thicker cylinderwalls.

I just want to help, thats all.
