Time to make the official announcement. A special thanks to all of you that have already purchased the new V2 kit!

All new for 2021, our improved V2 design! We took feedback from our customers, combined it with our own experience and tested the kit on the snow for an entire season. It's now available to you:

Go here to watch the installation video and to purchase:

- Uses a positive latching system for a more secure connection.
- Simplified installation
- No more shock cords that can accumulate snow.
- Now works with both the standard snowflap AND the 3 inch track snowflap!
- Remove your stock snow flap and secure it to the tunnel of your sled within seconds.
- It's time to lose the flap!

Improved Hill Climbing :: Less Getting Stuck :: Easier Hopovers/Bowties :: Better Wheelies!

- No tools required after installation!
- Reduces drag so you can climb higher and get stuck less.
- Similar benefit to shortening your tunnel without the extensive labor and loss of resale value.
- Provides for flap removal when backing your sled down a steep ramp.
- Better access to your bumper for those times when you do get stuck.
- Reattach snow flap in seconds for trail riding, low snow conditions, or roost deflection.
- A snow flap's only benefit in deep snow is to help you get stuck easier!

V1 worked great and already have V2 ready to go on my 2020 Axys. I'm sure unless Polaris offers a removable flap on the Matryx Slash? We will need something for spring riding. I know we got to get them first before worrying about spring riding, BUT!! Thank you and think lots of snow for northern Utah this year.........:)

I wonder if this will work to add a snowflap to the slashes
No, but working on that. The Matryx mountain chassis sleds have a new tapered tunnel design and the flap mounts differently. There will definitely be a need for better cooling on low snow days and I have a fairly slick concept worked up but we need more time on the snow.

I watched the install video. Does the latch system attach the flap to the tunnel or just the bungee cord?
The brackets keep the flap from moving forward and side to side, while the cord holds it down and keeps it from moving back. But the latches themselves aren't used when attaching the flap to the tunnel.

We designed it that way so that both flap designs can basically hinge up at any angle, in case you have stuff on the tunnel (like the tail light or a storage bag) that you'd need to rest the end of the flap on.

During development, we made a tunnel holding bracket that basically copied the existing holes that the flap latches to when using it. But it was fairly complex and expensive for having it be angle adjustable to accommodate both flaps. Also, the end of the flap flopped around too much. The bungee cord on the new design does a good job with holding it down. And it's simple.

Thanks for the orders, guys. Keep 'em coming!

Here are pics from today of some kits getting put together.

First pic is of the levers, just after the UHMW is applied. The levers pivot smoothly with this slippery and durable plastic, as well as protects your tunnel from scratches.

Second pic is fully assembled and ready for clean up and final inspection.

Third pic is shrink wrapped and ready for boxing.

Haydays is coming up and we're putting together lots of kits. Track me down and pick up a kit. Ankle Savers too.

New since mid last season, is a feature that also attaches the flap to the bumper, if you're original snow flap also does that. A few customers wanted a more secure design and we gave it to them. Still attaches/detaches in seconds. If you have the holey snow flap, there's no need for the extra security, but it's there if you want it.

Will have a new install video to show everyone very soon. Install will be on a 137" VR1! Turns out there's a HUGE advantage to removing the flap for the off trail flatland guys too.

See ya at Haydays!
