I took the clutches off to get them ready to head west and my belt is starting to shred BIG TIME and then I noticed that the gold washer"shim?"" that was behind the clutch!

am I wrong was ther no washer"shim" behind ther?

mybe it was jus heat that took the belt apart?

I swear that it had a washer on the shaft?
