M7 Light Question..

Hello Im going to be running a Diamond S Hood with 2 55 Halogen Lights on it. Will I need to Get the Resistor Kit Thru Fastlane.Inc Or will I be Pulling enough Power thru and not have to worry about frying my ecu.? Whats the stock lights Pull for electric wise? I dont think Ill have a Problem with this setup. Will i need to run my hand warmer's on High?

I would run the resistor just to be safe. I have had many guys run with no resistor, no lights, no gauges, and have no problems........but have had too many guys chance it and end up witha $1200.00 bill.

I've ran 2 seasons with 2 55W lights and mesh hood with no resistor and have had no problems. I usually run my hand warmers on high but not always.

i run two 55 watt lights and have no problems w/o a resistor. even had one of the bulbs go out during a ride, and still no problem

I ran my sled without a hood (or lights) a lot the first season and never had a problem, after I heard about it I put a single 55 watt light on and still haven't had a problem. What do you think about the fit of your diamond s hood? I wasn't very impressed with all the gaps and how it came with no way to mount it, but made it work. Now that it's all done, I love the hood!!

stock ones pull 35 each. BTW, how bad of snow ingestion with the bd-x intake do you get?

more then enough. Pissed me off. Every single ride i go on i have to pull the airbox out and reclean it out. EVERY TIme. Im just gona use the stock airbox since the hood has the d/s air plenum. Prob will gain a lil weight but well see. ill have so much venting ill be wondering to see how the motor runs. I was almost melting crap last time.
