It started out as a 02 zr 800, put a fabcraft 144" tunnel in, did the front mount post, has a king cat front suspension on it, and I am converting the 800 to 900 for it. I also have a mountain fit m to 1m hood for it

Bought it brand new in 06 and got 3500 trouble free miles on it now, love this sled, has no snow running boards, side panel vents, big air intake, lightweight can, and some other goodies.

I didn't want to have the big rubber straps on the front of my hood, so I drill and tap the hood/panel so I could install some hand/finger screws. holds things down nice and tight, just not a quick release like the straps can be.

I did use the rubber straps in the back though, like factory install

idcatman3-great looking sled! What did it take to get the M series tank to work? Any mounting issues?

The M8 suspension is very nice, that's a really easy mod to do. The one good ride we had on it before the snow melted, the track seemed to do very well.

The only mounting issues we ran into was that the drop brackets in the tunnel weren't straight to begin with. With a stock tunnel, it's very easy, we've done many of them.

8Hundo, I've got some more pictures of how we mounted the tank in this thread:
