i was wondering if anyone has geared their kk from a 19 tooth top to a 18 tooth, what did it do, how did you like it . i am thinking of doing it to mine, i don't need the top end speed

real hard on the chain to make the turn on a 19. go 20/46.

Depending on what bottom gear you have now, If I were you I would go with a larger bottom gear if you have a 43 go 44 or 45 if there is room for the 45. Or like fomo said, cause an 18 tooth will self destruct the chain in no time.

i have a 43 bottom and where i got the top gear they said a 45 wouldn't fit

Had to tighten it after first ride. The new chain stretched quite a bit.

after the replies i think i need a different mechanic/parts supply he informed me that a 45 bottom wouldn't fit, sold me a new 15 wide chain and a 13 top sprocket he will get it back

3/4 hyvo will last longer then the sled.

20/43 72 tooth broken in chain, no adjuster necessary, 15 wide top sprocket, 13 wide bottoom........you won't find any performance below that.

19 tooth in a cat chain case is bad........too small a diameter to tranfer energy without significant loss of power, 18th should be illegal....a sin for sure.

I went 9/45 with a 72? pitch chain, go 13 wide bottom gear and 15 wide to 15 wide chain.

I wish I would have gone 46. but the 45 makes it a track spinnin climin ba$1ad!
