Nobody really likes dealing with burn downs and other problems. It is a very broad subject here on the 4M. I would suggest searching and doing some research on the posts here. The guys that are here a lot don't like to answer the same thing over and over. You will get some good responses once you have more details on what you are looking for. The questions you asked are about 20 threads of repsonses from some smart guys.
so when your pistons are seizing or scoring what are you doing to fix it other then putting a new top end on it? I have read and heard lately of people finding the oil adjustment off on the oil pump. something I would look at. I would rather go through alot of oil then a little bit, but that is probably why I still am on my original motor with 1700 miles on it
