Whats the difference between the 08 and 09 spindles besides the 09 being listed as lightwieght?

Any issues with the 09 going on a 06? I know the 08's will go.

08 and 09 are the same ... the 09 dragon and assault went a lightened version of the same spindle... The 2009 NON dragon/assault have the same spindle as the 2008's.

All spindles from 2006 - 2010 are interchangelbe using the stock tie rods.

At the same price.. I'd go with the Holz.

Good luck.

I have the holtz on my sled I'm building. A buddy of mine who has a 06 wants to try newer spindles.

The only thing that worrys him and me a little with the holz are, to get the 42 c to c you have to run both the spacers on the outside, I can see the spindle bushings wearing . I'm also not set on the plastic bushings, I would have rather seen babbit or brass like the poo spindles use.

I thought the spindles were interchangeable on the 05 RMK's as well???? If not, may I ask why? :beer;

Ja..

they are interchangeable with 05 yes..but the 05 design was so poor that there is no reason to install them on something else..

MH is just saying that the 06-10 spindles can be interchanged between themselves and installed on the 05...however..the 06-07 are better then the 05s, i would junk the 06-07 as well..

did that make sense..cause i dont think so, lol..

Ok that makes sense....I mis-read the statement by MH. Thanks. Yeah was going to do the holz upgrade to the spindles.

The 2005 spindles have a different length of Tie rod.... you can run all the above spinles on an 05 with a bit of adjustment.

The 05's are not worth running on any of the sleds...

Thanks MH.....:beer;
