hey, i was wondering on fuel injected sleds, does the clutching/weights matter in elevation or anything? Right now their at 10/56 so i was wondering if that would be ok for low and high elevations thanks

the sled is completely stock, 2009 155track, no engine upgrades, i weigh 140-145 and I ride in about 1500(around my house) or 3200-6000, or 8000(the big horns)

the snow conditions are either hardpack(lower altitude, and a little in the middle one) or powder(8000 altitude)

I would go with some 10-54 for riding 8-10K.

For 0-2K go with some 10-64 and with 10-58 for 4-6K.

This should all be found in the supplemental operators manual.

I would say you need 3 different set ups for the 3 different riding elevations.
I don't know what would be correct for a 600 (having never clutched on), but what works at 1500 isn't going to work at 8k.

on my sons 08 600 ho rmk 155 I run 64's from sealevel up to 3000 ft., and 62's up to 6000 ft, (62's are a touch heavy at 6000 ft though and it will only pull 8100...sled is bone stock ..and runs fine at 6000 ft. and 8100 rpm...
