Forward mount advice.

hey everyone I need a little advice, I just finished up the forward mount on my 04 mountain cat efi everything went smooth but now I am faced with a dilemma during the process we had to trim the steering bumpstop, the metal tab on the bottom of the steering post that stops your handle bars from going to far right. I was wondering what you guys have done to restore the steering back to normal I know some people that just ride it this way but I feel like it would mess up my riding! any info on this would be greatly appreciated and pics are welcome!!

Nevermind I went out and tinkered with it and figured it out! for anyone else that does the forward mount using the stock post and runs into this problem I used a piece of angle iron cut it to size and bolted it just above where the stock post bolts to!
