Would there be an advantage of removing the ethonal plug if you ran reg. fuel on a 2006 x-fire 700?

Can you run both types of fuel with the plug in?

New to Cats, not exactly sure on this ethonal plug I read about on here.

THanks

if you leave it plugged in and run ethinal or oxidized fuel its pretty common to get a lean bog, also on deep days it will melt everything under the hood and lay down on long pulls.

Not sure what your actual question is.
If you unplug the connector, or on some models flip the switch, it adds 3% fuel across the board is how I understand it.

If I do not run ethonal, should the plug be removed? Or just leave the plug in?

I did not know if there were any performance gains?

I can't tell a difference with mine in or out. I have to run oxygenated fuel though too. Of the 8 different stations I checked this winter all were running oxygenated 87 so I just went with that and pulled the plug. Prior to this winter, they didn't have oxygenated...

If you are NOT running ethonal leave it pluged in. If you ARE running it UNPLUG it.

IT is not like hitting a NOS button your not going to see the sled go up the hill any faster.

I knew it would not have been a gain like NOS ;)

Just wondered about the plug due to all the talk about it.

Thanks Everyone
