Sorry if this has been posted before but I did a search but nothing came up. Are there any benifits in running a 3.0 pitch over a 2.86 pitch track? I gonna do a track upgrade on my 155 pro and wanna make sure I get the best track. I know I will have to change drivers to get the 3.0 pitch. Will a camo extreme 2.5 with 8 tooth 3.0pitch clear the bulkhead? thanks :face-icon-small-hap

8 tooth 3" pitch with 2.5" track... NO

8 tooth 2.86" pitch with 2.5" track... yes, but BARELY

The 3" pitch tracks are lighter slightly.

On either pitch... the 7 tooth Avid Power-Claw-Style Drivers work the best IMO.

Some think that the 3" pitch tracks have a tendency to stab... I've not seen that on any sled that the track was properly tensioned (tight).
