I am trying to locate more information on an Arctic Cat 13335cc motor and was wondering if anyone here had any more details on them. I was told they were a welded triple composed of 2 ZR700 blocks welded together with PSI 890 VEP cylinders installed, kick A$$ filters, Big Air Carbs, and JAWs pipes. Does any one have any more details on these engines and if anyone is running them? I was told it can make 250HPish on a 50/50 blend and 300+HP on straight race gas.

The only google info I could find was some pics on Cat-Tamer.com website that shows a motor similar to the one I have..

I'd heard about the old 1050s built out of two of the old 700 motors. What you describe sounds pretty accurate. I would not be surprised that it took a Polaris ignition, just because their triple ignitions are pretty easy to come by.

Parts are gonna be a little hard to come by. The crank should be stock cat 700 stuff, but the cylinders and pistons are gonna be PSI stuff, good luck with that. Turbotater in Boise might be a resource.

My dad and I have done something similar, but with the stock cat 900 twin stuff. Makes for a pretty fun engine.

I was told this was built around 00 or 03, so it isn't the old wild cat motor/cases. I was looking at trying to sell this maybe. Anyone interested in it or is it just a shelf piece?

Cat brought back the same 700 twin in '99, and made it for a couple years, so if it is what you describe, that's still probably what it is.

Have any pictures?

Boat anchors at best! If your gunna build something like that do a polaris watercraft tripple or like idcatman is doing and build a tripple based off thethe 8/900 twins. Way more reliable parts are readily available and just as much power as the zr 700 based triple with those junk outdated psi cyls
