Can't find it now but read on some site there is an issue with the reverse sensor spring. This will cause the machine to think it's in reverse and will light up the ccu error. This obviously happens when shifting into reverse and eventually the sensor pops back into place which erases the code. Sound familiar??

Nothing to worry about. Have same problem on 08 m8 because of the mechanical reverse (hense the wrench light). Turn sled off and restart to fix, not worth the money to fix. Been riding 2 years with this issue and it only happens here and there. Mechanical reverse stinks.
