Got an '06 M7, bought used. Has an RKT clutch kit in it that was bought sometime between summer '06 and summer '08. Trying to ride in it for the first time. Belt squeals and has almost no deflection. How do you adjust belt deflection on these? It's not the newer kit with the BD adjuster. Any help would be appreciated.

on mine you simply loosen the bolt holding on the secondary, then i used the stock cat adjuster from the tool kit that goes inside your spark plug wrench. on the arctic cat part your have to grind down the center so the 3 prongs stick out to fit the adjuster. or you can order the real tool from rkt. how far does your belt sit out of the sheave and have you tried a new belt? or is it just simply too tight. my current belt is noisy because of the compound its made out of but if i switch back to a new cat belt its happy.
