i'm a thinkin of buyin a 98 700 rmk was wonderin what kind of reliability does it have stock? especially the bottom end.

That was the most reliable sled I've ever owned. After 5000 miles (untouched lower end), I took the motor out and transplanted it into an 04 Edge chassis and it's still going

Motors are pretty bullet proof as long as the water pump belt is changed once a season and primary clutch is serviced regularly.
Great sled. I sold mine at like 4500 miles to a friend. He sold it at 6500 miles and all it had ever done to it was a new clutch.

thnx guys i just wanted to confirm what iv herd (that there reliable). i just dont want nothin like the edge 800 engine. all the guys even my bro always have problems with the bottom end

i love my 97 i think its the same as a 98. if you like hillclimbing gear it down
put a camoplast track on it ranging from 144-159. i like my 156 track on it. and raise your bars. runs real good. i have 4500 miles on mine and still runnin strong.
