From what I have heard its not worth the 500+ price tag.....

The stock one isnt all the bad.

Can't speak for the '05 900, but on the '06, the SLP pipe is definitely worth the money. It's a very noticeable difference and I still kick myself for riding it the first season with the stock pipe.

I had the RMX package from Xtreme Perforamce on my sled before I did the full SLP kit.

For $450, you won't find more bang for the buck than their RMX combo, but the SLP kit definatley makes more power.

Keep in mind I did the SLP y-pipe, single pipe, can, and head.

With the same clutch weight I had in with the RMX kit I picked up ~500 rpm going with the SLP kit. I need to weight up from 69g weights to 71's now, I'm hitting 8,000 rpm ....

only other PIPE your gonna find "aftermarket" other then SLP..is going to CPI..some have fitment issues, some dont..they do not require an ECU reflash either..but overall great pipes...
