Would it matter what Polaris says? They had "fixes" for the 550 fan motor, 5 years ago. Problem is...it's STILL not "fixed".

What Polaris says is for PR purposes/damage control only.

See the 2010 rips thread. I think that they have a fix. It was easily the strongest running stock 800 that I have ever ridden. It would give a lot of mod sleds a run for their money and win.

800 rework

Those earlier Polaris letters admitting a problem, and now reports of 2010 running good without bog are both good signs. I've read talk about Polaris waiting until fall for recall to built up supply of parts (monoblocks and pistons). I just hope they get everyone's sled reworked before the snow flies.

ya tell me about it. i want nothing more then to have a problem free sled for next winter.
