Selling my 2004 Polaris Pro-XR 440 with 04 600 VES installed. Sled is completely modified and nearly nothing is untouched. This sled was built for off trail riding in Upper Michigan while I lived there and hasn’t been ridden much since moving to Minnesota after college. The sled has been done thru for the season and is ready to ride and always starts on one or two pulls. I have had no big issues since the conversion five years ago. Sled has never been raced and has been taken care of. I personally built the sled and can tell you everything about it. Here’s a shorter list of some of the changes.
All Polaris Race Shop Updates completed for the 04’ race season. Including front skid mount relocation (drop)
Engine
2004 Polaris pro-X2 600 with PERC, TPS, Stock Pipe and muffler, V-Force 3 reeds, SLP Air Horn, Complete Oil Injection installed, Key with adjustable timing for premium and regular fuel (Rebuilt and checked before install)
Always ran on Klotz TCW-3 religiously
Approx: 3000 miles on rebuild Clutches, Carbs, and Exhaust Valves recently cleaned
Chassis:
C and A Pro skis with new carbides, 136 x 15 x2” Track installed and in great condition with no ripped lugs, Tracks USA Rail extensions and a tunnel extension with rack mount. Ski-doo 11.5 gallon trail tank and 03 440 Race Seat, seat bars structurally attached to the Steering Hoop and braced. 2006 IQR Handlebars with integrated grips and warmers. 6.5” riser. PowerMadd hand gaurds
Shocks have been re-valved for Cross country riding and were recently rebuilt.
I clutched and geared the sled and it flat out rips. It’s quick and climbs well.
Approx: 4500 miles on chassis and no races.
The sled has a few cosmetic problems (scratches and plastic tears) but it is mechanically sound and I would have no issues taking it anywhere. Very reliable and has never left me stranded
