08 D8 HELP

Need a little help with my 08 d8. was out riding today and started running like crap, like a fould plug or something. Stopped and checked plugs, looked ok but i changed anyway. Ran fine the rest of the day but would only turn 7600-7800 rpm. Put a new belt on last night so belt is good, was thinking maybe power valves need cleaning and check tps. Anything else im missing or something else i should look at? thanks

While you have the valves out, look for scuffed pistons. Good compression and loss of RPM usually indicates scuffed pistons.

had the y pipe off on friday and took a look at the pistons and the looked really good to me, no scuffs on the area i can see. anybody know what the compression should be? engine has factory update.

so i found a hole in one of the exhaust valve bellows, hoping that is my problem, has to be restricting power but not sure if it will effect max rpm.

Hole will do it, that cylinder will not make top end power and it will load the other one.

Had the exact problem, changing those fixed it.

changed bellows and springs today, warmed it up in the shop and hit 8250 on the stand
