Hey guys.
I did some searching. I havnt been able to figure out what size track i can run on my edge. right now i have a 151x15x2.

I have a stock sled, is it posible to run a 2.25 inch lug track?

Question 2. When some one says its a 2.52 pitch. Does that meen the length of the outside of the track to the start of the hole for the sprocket?

Thanks guys
Harry

People have wedged 2.25" tracks under them. My 2" drug along the tunnel so I didn't go any taller until I did a drop and roll. You could also do smaller drivers to get some more room.

The 2.52 pitch is the distance between drive nubs.

Pitch it out / 2.59

2.52

Camoplast makes a nice 159 full window full clip track that is 2 1/8.

Get it ported, I have done a coupe of Edges this way

Gears 20 /42's work great get a Team roller

So....

Could I convert my edge 151 track to 155?

I assume it would require a D&R, driver change (2.52 to 2.86) and bigger idler wheel, and maybe gearing down

Spin you sure can put a 155 on there. D&R is the best route but I know guys have dropped driver size, to do it but, the first option is the best.

Might want to drop gearing, can't answer that for positive, with out looking, but clutching will be.

I would say go for it, if you don't want to upgrade sleds in the next coupke of years.

Last year I put a A20 153" cut down to 2" under my 03 vertical edge. I slid the skid back 1" and I went down bout a 1/2", I also put 7 tooth extrovert drivers on. Did not change clutching and as far as gearing, it worked awesome. It needed to be geared down any way and the driver change did that for me. Very happy with the way the sled works except for the front end always up in the air, guess i need to pull the front limiters tighter but other then that the best upgrade ive made on the sled except for the SLP pipe. Just My .02

Yes it will fit I ran a 2.25 151 finger track for 4 years with stock drivers. Every once in a while it would hit the top of the tunnel but nothing regular. After 4 years I just had some black marks under the seat with no tunnel wear. There's about 1/4 inch of room left after the 2.25 is added between the track and the front cooler.
