Importing a snowmobile

Hello snowesters, I have noticed quite a few people looking into importing a sled into canada from the US. I bought mine in montana along with a few other things( trucks, trailers, dirt bike) It's a great idea, you defitnly save on the cost of the machine. however after all the gas, miles on your truck, cost of food, time off work and all other tarvel expenses it starts to cut out a large chunk from you thought you would save. The idea I had was to find maybe 8 people who want snowmobiles from the US, they can tell me what they want i'll find them the one they want, get it, bring it back. One quick trip to keep travel expenses to a minimum and split the cost 8 ways. and also you lose all the hassle of the paper work and driving. You can tell me what you want, what you dont want, what to watch for. i'll give you a list of the sleds matching your description, you can pick the one you like. I go get it, and you get a sled in canada with the american pricing with no hassle. if anyone has any questions or is interested give me message.

No, actually the American dollar is @ $1.06 compared to Canada.
Just joking, I just bought a 200 mile turbo Nytro from Montana for $13,000 US.
This is a sled that cannot be had for under $20,000 Canadian built from a dealership.
Even though I'll be looking at $15,000 max by the time I get it home considering all costs, this is still a great deal.
There seems to be some crazy deals in the US right now. It is especially beneficial to Canadians if the sled is near a border and doesn't need to be shipped. You can then pick it up using minimal gas and time.
