There is a private company called "Snowy Mountian Alpine Tours" Trying to get exclusive rights to Paradise/Holy Grail/North Blue drainage. We need to voice our opinion to stop this possible closure. check out this link http://www.arfd.bc.ca/ApplicationPosting/index.jsp?cp=7 Choose page 8 then click on "Snowy Mountain Alpine tours" and then click "comment on this" we only have to Sept. 25 2008 so please hurry!!!:eek:
 
Where can we find a more detailed description of this proposal? I want to give an informed opinion to them but sort of can't without the info.

I will respond as well but I don't ride in the area, can you give me some more info or additional info so that we can respond intelligently instead of "don't close it"

I will be doing Posts for Blue River also....

Blue River has NO CLOSURES yet.....this Application is for Dana Foster to also use the North Blue area....

Even if it does not include your area's once the precedence is set the government of BC will lean towards that. So if no one objects the next application might go easier. So if lot's of people object they will see this in future applications, which could be your riding area. Any acre of land lost to public riding effects all of us, it could mean more people ride your snow thus less for you.;)

I put in my 2 cents. Everybody should get in on this, even if you don't / haven't ridden Blue River. Once it starts, it doesn't stop. We are losing places to ride at an alarming rate - only to benefit the skiers and granola eaters (not to mention the tour operator). Oh, and if you want to win - remember that there is strength in numbers, and loud pipes are NOT helping our sport whatsoever. Stand up for what you believe in - the freedom to ride.

wasn't sure exactly what to say, but simply stated "I'm apposed to, and against the restriction of this land to a specific party or type of use."


FYI, hotmail addresses are not accepted...


Send in something, even if its not your area. Something is better than nothing guys/gals! These will probably just turn into statistics and numbers..but we really need more of that on our side.

Simply apposing restrictions is better than /shrugging and /ignoring..
