Here's a few photos and videos of the races- name the riders if you know 'em (and correct me if I'm off)

Doc Zoom's going to have some killer footage of all the races, so watch for his next Mountain Mod Mania movie!

Holy smokes hardly anyone there!

Isn't the big triple the one with the camara dangling off of the nose mostly to the left? Maybe it's an optical illusion but the sled with the lighter colored jacket to his right wins both race #1 & #2 on the video I see. Was there a finish line marker and the triple was lifting at the end?

There were alot of spectators behind the camera, ALOT!

Yeah Linderman was on the left with the camera and he did lift about 3/4's the way up the hill and the others stayed in it longer. That was the big delema of everyone wanting to go to race bowl but wheres the finish line due to the big cornice on top?

Wow. Cool. That bike is FAST.

Did it race the sleds up the race bowl?

busa turbo

is it just me or does the busa vid look sped up? watch the sleds coming down... they are going oddly fast.

still a very cool project, much props for the total engineering on that rig. i could be wrong... the vid just looks like it is playing a lil fast, especially when you watch how fast the "linderman" sleds are going up the hills in the vid and then watch the bike go, looks like the bike would lay waste to the fastest sleds around.

is it just me?

Yea if you study it you can see him put the skis down about 3/4 of the way up. Ive always wondered why they start the drags so close. My thoughts were it was a conspiracy because the original guys didn't want US few TURBO racers to spool up! That was back in the day. Now 90% are the turbo boys! One year they had a radar and Clausen (RIP) clocked a 79 MPH uphill ground speed. That was incredibly smoking fast...the new stuff has to be doing that plus.

Can't see behind but in the old days you couldn't even find your buddies in the madness. I see lots of open snow spots off in some of the pictures. We also used to get buggies coming off the hill solo and the crowd was at risk. The top had a constant stream of people dropping in (too much snow this year) and the second bench west of the hill usually had another giant bunch of spectators. Was there that many this year?

That there is marketing Brock! It's his damn video and he can do anything he wants with it! You just don't want Blaser shooting your **** or you'll look like a sparrow! Heck bunnies can't even hump that fast.

I took all the vids with my little photo camera. Had it set on 10 frames per second for the first few videos (the Berg hillclimb), and then noticed it and set it to 30 frames per second for the rest of the race bowl stuff.

It's all un-edited footage (not sped up). It was the first ride on the turbo 650Berg, and it ran ok- but it's nowhere near the big boys. We'll tune it in and then see... (a guy can dream right?)

I've got a few more vids to post when I get home. There really were a lot of people up there. It was a fun time for sure.

Who's the guy to the right of Linderman and what is he running? He looks like the winner to me.

I was standing far off to the right side of the racing action, so it does skew the video a bit. The closer riders look farther up the hill. The first run Linderman told me he let off about 3/4 of the way up, instead of using his "other" shot of gas.

The second race looked really close to me- I think it was the 1200 cat turbo and a Diamond S yamaha that were right there together.

For the last race, Linderman made a few clutching adjustments, and it was all him. No contest from what I saw-
we'll just have to wait for Doc Zoom's "real" footage to see who had it-

well for being with linderman the whole weekend pretty much all I can say is that I wish his turbo could have made it to the final run, they tuned on it all weekend (the 1720 they didnt even really touch) but they finally figured out a prob with it, corrected it, and that turbo was FLYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 400+hp turbo twin and two stages of squirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! would have given em all a really good run, plus rode double out to race bowl and all their crap but while riding tandem had some issues on a hill getting to the bowl, and to make a short story long I think a powerjet got closed up causing it to finally sieze and broke a piston.

Linderman let off earlier than the rest plain and simple, he told me face to face that after he let off then they came but he only ran 1 stage of squirt for the first 2 rounds.

As for the 2moto guys gotta give em props, they tackled some hills that some built up turbos couldnt handle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! weather it be their riding skills or something else they got it done when alot of peeps were counting them out!

Thanks for the props. There were quite a few comments at race bowl like "how'd you get those bikes in here" and "how did you guys make the hills?"

It's hard to believe where a 50 hp bike with a 93 inch track will go... (the KTM we had).

Here's a few more vids-
Turbo climb (you can hear how bad it was jetted)

Husaberg up close-

The 2Moto bikes were rockin! There was one hill I barely made it over on my stock Nytro, then the carnage started, pulled out my camera and started filming all the people who couldn't make it over the hill to get to race bowl.
Then here comes this dang motorcycle blastin over the top! Didn't even break a sweat, then Brett starts carving all over the mountain side like it wasn't even there! Then he goes down and gets the stock KTM and makes it over the top! Yeah, I think there is something to these new 2moto bikes!
You'll see lots of 2moto action in MMM6! Once again thanks for all the really fast sleds that showed up this year, it was the closest racing I have ever seen! Glen, you are a top notch guy for bringing a lowered drag race only sled over all those mountains to get to the race hill and then race the thing and then ride all the way out! Your other M1000 with the Boondocker turbo'd 1200 was really rocking! If somebody wants one of the fastest sleds in the world, this is it, give Glen a call! And nobody can give Linderman crap about his sled being a one off drag sled, when he not only won with it but towed out his buddys sled at the end of the day with it! It will be interesting to see what he brings to the shoot out next year!
Oh and the guy that borrowed my ratchet with a 5/16 allen, please get it back to me!

See ya at the Big Dawg!
