Another great trip to Mccall. Week of sunshine and great snow. Heston pulled one of the nastiest chutes I've ever seen on his M8T. Climbed right up the face of a big nasty Avy chute right off the trail. He'd been looking at it for 5 years and he's the first to do it as far as I know. Just dropping down to it was a challenge. Two guys hanging off his bumper to slow him down and eventually rolled several times. He jumped back on it and climbed right up the chute. IMPRESSIVE!!!!

Just 1 try. Chute is about 1200 vertical feet. Attracted alot of attention since it topped out right on the trail. Everytime I went by it, there was big groups of people starring down at his line thinking WTF

I was one of the guys standing there, and am still thinking WTF!

Johns one crazy s.o.b., wish i could have been down there to see it. Is this going to qualify him for that vid cover he's always wanted?

I know alot of people on here know exactly where the avy area is, and damn just being on the top and looking down makes my knees week. Thing about photos and vidio you just cant tell how steep it realy is. NICE PULL.

coyotegirl, when you park at the upper brundage parking lot and you ride a few miles and you reach the first lookout area. Its when on one side you have a wall of rock and on the other a big drop off. They have signs about it being an avy area.

hey tom its phil from mccall. Nice pics. that shot you got of heston turned out pretty good. I will get a good tape and ask him to do it again lol. The vid i got of him rolling didnt turn out to bad. Maybe we can do some exchanging. my footage of him rolling for your footage of him climbing. I will pick out some good stuff I got with you guys and send it. I am going to go look at some of those drops in lick creeck this weekend. Ill let you know what I get into. Maybe somemore treehuggers. Im gonna make signs for no skiing and put them on our side of the road haha. I guess jim is coming back down pretty soon to get his new truck and he is thinking about buying my 05 racer chassis and stickin his 12 in it. later
