Light weight RX-1 Turbo for sale! SOLD
More than likely going to be heading to school 40hrs a week for two years so I won't be able to ride much if at all so I have to sell my baby.
It started life as a 03 RX-1.
Mountain performance built the sled from the ground up.
The turbo kit is a Bender stage two with the good intercooler, and titanium piping. Has blow off valve in system. Low compression pistons per MPI. Turbo is heat wrapped and shielded for quick spool up.
lso wo
Every light weight part on the sled these include
Camo Extreme 162" 16" 2.5" (missing a few lugs)
MPI Tunnel
Boss seat
MPI rear suspension including billet rails, and billet wheels
Titanium rear springs in the rear
MPI front suspension including light weight spindles
Best shocks made on the front Elkas which retail for over $1000.
Diamond S mesh hood with guage pod, also have fiberglass hood with one crack. Fiberglass hood is super fragile.
Light weight battery just rebuilt at the end of last year (Will include MPI jumped cables from sled to sled)
Light weight steering post
Nitrous system that I have only used a few times after I bought the sled. Really don't need it! It does have a switch to turn it on and a WOT under four pounds of boost it kicks on and turns off once four pounds of boost is reached.
Avenger 3 with, water temp, intake temp, egt x2, clutch ratios, and a few others. Has everything
A/F guage
Sure I am forgetting something but that should cover most of it. I run a few gallons of race fuel just to be safe. Snowest had a article on the sled and said it weighted 525 dry....? Have that mag somewhere
The bad
Slight tunnel tweak from poor design from MPI and a tail stand. Brackets are welded together (vs separate)and it is stronger than what it was new.
Stock gray front right arm. MPI didn't have any arms in stock when I hit a rock and took it out. That is a stock arm. I have the other 3 stock arms and one extra MPI arm for the left side.
Also just replaced the rear suspension H arm due to a bad weld from MPI. It is also gray but not noticeable unless you are looking for it. MPI doesn't make blue ones anymore only black. Bought this one from a forum member.
Sled has been set up by Mountain Tech Yamaha and HA boost. Runs awesome! Turn key mod that eats everything and is light weight.
That should cover it
Here are the pictures
Price is $8000 Pretty firm. I have a ton more than that in this sled!
Miles I would guess around 1200-1400. Mac said they didn't ride the sled much as this is when they were working on the Supercharger testing. Around 500 miles when I bought it.
Riding it this weekend, nothing wrong with it.
Forgot the Simmons skis and MPI secondary, sled doesn't backshift hard at all so smooth. also has boost controller
Also would entertain trade offers for a M7 or cheap M8 plus cash. Hope I would be able to afford to keep one of those and still ride it. Maybe a Doo or Poo also depending
