Question for guys w/ enclosed trailers

Just ordered a new trailer and would like to keep the deck in good shape. Decided to run ski skins. Is it better to have a set for each sled, or just one set and take them off of one and put on the next when loading? Thanks.

I have a set of skins that are great for saving floors, but it's tough for me to steer the sled around. Basically you can't. I just use them for running the sleds into the shop now, and put runners in the trailer. Much better. B

Get a set for each sled. I took the cheap little plastic pieces that hold the skins onto the skis off and threw them in the trash. Get a couple plastic snap buckles and some nylon strap and rivet them on the skins (one in the front and one in the back). This makes putting them on and off super easy. Put the skins on and drive into the trailer. Just leave them on and when you are ready to unload just drive out. They work great for moving sleds around in the trailer and won't cut up your garage floor either.

You can see they are even on my sled in my avatar. No reason to cut up the driveway when loading.

I have seen people use the skins... NO Thanks

I went to my local spay in bed liner company and took the old truck bedliners off there hands. Works great

Most places that do rhino lining or equivelant are more than willing to give the bed liners away. Cut them up and your floor is protected forever. Works really good.
