From a very light impact, pushed my ski back about 3 inches. Never wrecked my shock thankfully but be aware that they are flimsy compared to the glued ones.
Not even sure my ski went a little off the trail and clipped something but I wasn't going very fast. I actually never even considered that it could be bent with that light of a hit until I started falling over repeatedly on the right side. Have only wrecked 1 set of a arms in 5000 miles on the pro chassis (3 sleds 12/13/14).
If anybody is looking for replacements either stock or aftermarket we have a bunch of customers selling their take offs or you can PM me for pricing on Zbroz.
I must admit my sled has aftermarket a arms on it and zero miles.
I figured the stockers were worth more new than bent.
I have been known to break quite a few a arms.
I am actually glad Polaris choose to continue to make the arm the weak link instead of the bulkhead like another manufacturer I would rather not mention.
I hit a stump pretty good with mine, enough to go over the bars. No bends. They're good. Better than bending the chassis from a small hit like one of the other brands...
That blows. That is where I figured it bend/break upon impact. I am happy it will bend before it will do further extensive damage however I don't want to have to carry extras a arms in my back pack. Might be time to pick up some z broz and have them ready to go before a arms are all on back order.
