Using the numbers from Dexter Axle's "Torflex Application Information Sheet"
I have 15" from the bottom of the frame where the axle mounts to the fenders.
No Load "0 weight on axle" from frame to Center of axle is 1.49"
I have 205/75R15 wheels with a radius of 13.65"
So 15"+1.49"-13.65"= 2.84" of clearance from top of tire to fender
Change this to a full load dimension
15" frame to fender
Full load on axle 3500# -.81" or .81 inches above axle mount
Same radius of 13.65"
So 15"+ -.81" -13.65"= .54" clearance from fender to top of tire.
In turn any trailer with these dimensions will sit somewhere between 2.84" to .54" of clearance from fender to tire. This does not leave much room for bump clearance when moving down the road. Dexter has on this spec sheet has written twice "Allow 3" of bump Clearance from full load". Which would be 2.46" above my fenders. I would say I have a problem.
