I've had my 872 now for 3-4 years. When I first got it, the break in ride happened at the First Annual Canadian Forum ride. When everyone got to talking about sleds one day, I told them I had a BB. Of course, they thought it was an 860 because that was the common 800 BB kit was at the time. I immediately corrected them all with a very proud and matter of fact statement, "No its not. Its a Trygstad 872 !!" Well, the chatter began. What's the big deal !? Its only another 12cc !! 860, 872, what's the difference? So, as this trip went on, for that year, and at the 2nd forum ride...and the 3rd USA ride...I was known as the guy with the 860+12 BB...it was a good laugh and funny joke. We have all become good friends and we are the core group that make these trips. This year, at our 4th Annual Canadian Forum Ride, the joke was once again on me !!!
I guess if you have what everyone else wants....you have to live with a sense of humor!!
