Love to see how it compares to the x3 as well.. running the x3 now. I'd run the 3" powerclaw for SURE.
will it be heavier then the x3 though?
How will the downhill braking progress?
Is there going to be more of a drop and roll on the proclimb now then? I know my x3 fits, but it VERY tight.....
New drivers? Interesting release for sure.

that looks like 3 to me but i honestly dont know.
I'm surprised they're doing this... the 2.6 is killer track, lots of guys seem to prefer it to the 3.
With the 174x3 doo, I would like to see more 3" tracks coming, but not just on the panzy long tracks... give us shorter sleds some real paddle too!!! Really stoked it's in the 153 as well though... holy hell that's an awesome track.

factory offer, dealer installed, trade in track has to be new take off, sled probably cant leave dealer, gotta pay labor for track change and 2,6 goes back to factory, cat has had a track trade program for many many years

Dealer mentioned this yesterday. He stated they will be offering a 7 tooth driver very cheap. He mentions $175CDN but could not confirm. IMHO, I prefer the Camo Extreme for light champagne pow in BC.
Just because someone sells it on eBay for $765, doesn't mean that is retail. Cats retail on a 2.6 162 is around $1,200, my bet is the 3" will be a little more. Camoplast retail on an extreme 3" is $1350, my bet is the PC 3" is close to that.
