Can anyone tell me if there's enough snow to ride from parking lot? Heading up tmrw, haven't been up there in a week, wondering if I need to put my deck back in or if I'm alright pulling the enclosed? Thanks in advance for your reply....

Pray for SNOW!

I was there tues. There were a few who rode from the snopark, we parked about a mile up. My advice is put the deck on.

As of this morning, the Fish Lake snotel (end of salmon la sac road) had lost 10 inches of snow and counting since last Sunday. Even Sunday night things were getting real slushy and bare at the entrance to the road. I think were gonna be back to driving up that road again this weekend.

Was up today, road was thin at the snow park and icy on the way up! But the best thing was no WHOOPS! Went into the Van Epps area and snow was good, worth the time to ride the area. Ridden out in a lot of areas, but still plenty of good play areas. Reminded me of a good spring riding day, lots of sunshine, snow soften up as the day went on! 50 to 60 miles and tired as heck for first good ride of the season 1/18/14 Crazy! We need more snow. Good luck if you go up, I will try to post some pic"s later

I'm new to driving up the road to get to snow, so if the road is closed does that mean we can no longer drive the trucks up to the snow?

We parked in the sno park and took the back route out... minimal riding on bare ground. If I went again I would park on the street vs sno park. There is more than enough snow on side of rode to ride on.

Had a great day yesterday
